Rounding cannot create a feasible order when the minimum already exceeds the model

Check an entered minimum quantity, step and fee reserve against a supplied planning cap without changing the cap to force a positive result.

Keep the planning model separate from product constraints

An entered size calculation can involve a planning cap, a per-unit model amount, a fixed fee reserve and a quantity increment. A product may also have a stated minimum quantity. Preserve each input with its unit and source rather than treating decimal display precision as an allowed increment.

The cited symbol-filter documentation illustrates separate minimum and step-size fields. No live symbol specification is obtained here, and every numerical constraint below is fictional. A real venue can impose additional conditions that this small example does not model.

Check the smallest permitted teaching quantity first

Enter a planning cap of 15 USD, a per-unit model amount of 7 USD, a fixed fee reserve of 2 USD and a hypothetical minimum quantity of 2 units with step 2. The smallest positive quantity uses 14 USD under the per-unit model, and the fee reserve brings the total to 16.

That exceeds the entered 15 USD cap, so no positive quantity satisfying these supplied constraints is feasible. A calculation ignoring the fee reserve would wrongly label the minimum as fitting. Rounding an infeasible zero-lot result up to one lot would change the conclusion, not solve the conflict.

Round only inside an explicitly defined model

For the stated model, available amount after the fixed reserve is 13 USD. At 7 USD per unit, the continuous quantity limit is 13/7, less than 2. Rounding down to the supplied step of 2 yields zero positive lots. Retain the distinction between the continuous limit and an allowed discrete quantity.

If a source uses a different increment origin, minimum rule, fee base or amount definition, preserve those conventions instead. A generic floor operation cannot establish that every product condition is satisfied. This guide does not place a test order to check eligibility.

A planned per-unit amount does not guarantee an execution loss

The 7 USD input is a teaching-model amount. It is not evidence that a real position cannot lose more, that an order will fill at a chosen price or that a stop limits all outcomes. Keep actual execution and account requirements outside the fictional arithmetic.

Likewise, a notional-value minimum is a different constraint from a quantity minimum. If another condition is supplied, evaluate it separately with its stated price definition. Missing product rules remain unresolved rather than being assumed satisfied.

An honest output can be no feasible positive size

A useful result preserves the cap, reserve, unit amount, minimum and step, then explains the conflict. It should not silently increase the cap, remove the reserve or alter a venue condition just to display a positive quantity.

This is not a recommendation about a trading budget, product or position size. All inputs are invented. The article complements a sizing calculator with a constraint audit and does not validate the linked market commentary offer or any actual order.

The optional link below leads to this site's separate crypto signals and Telegram updates offer. The record method is usable without that offer. It does not independently verify the offer, establish country eligibility or turn the teaching example into an actual transaction.
